Schools in the Littlehampton Family Group of Schools decided they wanted to build on the work of the Joint Access Teams to design and develop a new approach to working with children and young people in the communities of Littlehampton and the surrounding area. 
The phenomenal commitment and creativity of several hundred people, including children and young people, services providers, representatives from the community and voluntary sector and parents and carers, meant that The Hub started to become a reality.
From January 2006 the Hub begun to develop new ways of working to support children and young people between the ages of 0 – 19; in particular those who may have additional needs or about whom there is a cause for concern. The Hub gradually evolved into the Arun East ISDA (Integrated Service Delivery Agency). Anyone who comes into contact with a child or young person with such needs can, with the family’s consent, ask the multi-agency team to help them access the support or help they need. It is also part of the Hub’s vision to enable families to walk into the Hub Centre in Littlehampton to ask for advice or support for themselves.For further information please contact The Hub: 01903 (712940).
