Littlehampton Extended Services Strategy
The schools in our area are working together with partner groups to provide the following services on or near school sites:
- A varied menu of out of school hours activities all year round
- Childcare to be available for working parents before and after school and in the holidays (8am – 6pm)
- Family and parenting support to include access to information and opportunities for family learning sessions
- Swift and easy referral to a wide range of specialist support services through the HUB
- Community access to ICT, sports and arts facilities and opportunities for adult and vocational learning.
Through this provision we want to make sure that every child, and young person arrives at school ready to learn and that they have the best possible life chances.
